The MVRP offers Community Resources in Moapa Valley , to improve and support the local community.
Volunteers are welcomed for any of these projects and events.
Help Moapa Valley Residents who may require some physical aid addressing potential code violations. We partner with the Clark County Code Enforcement Office on this project.
Help Moapa Valley Neighbors who a hand with tasks such as changing a light bulb, posting an item for sale on social media, changing air filters, and more.
Help keep downtown Overton a little cleaner by emptying the trash receptacles and assisting with other improvements and upcoming phases.
Every month, usually on the third Saturday, MVRP distributes food to local low income families with help from volunteers, serving up to 500 families each month The food pantry is made possible through a partnership with Three Square.
Our annual Community Resource Fair was established in 2019 to provide valley residents information on available state, county, and local services.
MVRP partners with the American Red Cross to provide and install Smoke Detectors in the Moapa Valley Area. Smoke Detectors with 10 year batteries are provided FREE for residents by the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada.
Every year in spring, the MVRP organizes a family bicycle event called The Loop at Moapa Valley to allow visitors to discover some of the unique aspects of living in, or visiting, Moapa Valley. MVRP business members benefit from visibility throughout the events.
The MVRP is committed to helping every eligible person register to vote. Voting is so important to every community, and we encourage and assist the people of Moapa Valley to exercise this right.
